 Fairfield Inn And Suites, Pearl MS Receives Top Awards

On April 3, 2007, Sheneese Buckley and Gita Patel, General Managers for the Fairfield Inn and Suites of Pearl, MS received top awards from Marriott Inc. at the Annual Conference in San Antonio Texas. The Fairfield Inn of Pearl was selected as the Hotel of Year for 2006, among 514 Fairfield Inns across the United States. Additionally, the property received the Top Operation Award, as well as, the Magic Hotel Award for 2006.

The Fairfield Inn of Pearl, was opened in 1999, and has been managed by Southern Hospitality Services, LLC, since March of 2004. Southern Hospitality Services, LLC, based in Jackson MS, also manages 15 other properties primarily in Mississippi and Louisiana. Among them are Franchises such as Marriott, Hilton, IHG, La Quinta and Choice International. SHS, proving itself as a viable management company in the industry, has been approved for five additional properties throughout the various existing franchises, and their newest franchise partner, Hyatt Inc., all to be completed within the next four years.

Roy Patel, CEO and President and Nash Patel, Vice President of SHS, were also present in San Antonio Texas for the award ceremony. “I was extremely proud of our Managers and Staff when they called out the Fairfield Inn Jackson Airport” Roy said. “The Team works so hard and I am glad that someone other than SHS recognizes that,” Roy continued. When asked, “What’s your secret?” Nash Replied, “It’s all in the little details, and making sure everyone is working toward the same common goal, Making sure the guests come first.”

Comfort Suites, Monroe, Louisiana.

Choice Hotels International Worldwide awards this exclusive Platinum designation only to the top 2% of all properties in its system.
