Hospitality Management History

Southern Hospitality Services was founded in 2003 by Roy Patel and Nash Patel, with the vision to own and manage their own portfolio, which now accounts for15 properties. Southern Hospitality Services has the ability to continue developing superior hotels and grow their management company to a level highly respected in the lodging industry.

SHS is directed by President and major share-holder Roy Patel, Vice President of Operations Nash Patel, Vice President of Operations (Western Region) Vijay Patel, Director of hotel Operations Ed Ghanami, and a staff of regional Directors of Sales.

Currently SHS owns and operates 18 branded properties with a total of 1348 rooms, covering the states of MS, LA, TN and CA with more properties in various stages of  development. Each region has an appointed Partner/Regional manager, and properties are operated based on approved budgets, marketing plans, and standard procedures. Each hotel manager takes great pride in exceeding all quality and service brand standards resulting in consistently remarkable results.
